Machine Gun Kelly Changes Album Title After Getting It Tattooed with Travis Barker

'born with horns' is no longer, but it will live forever on their forearms

Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker are best buddies. And best buddies sometimes like to get matching tattoos. Sometimes those tattoos are inside jokes or meaningful symbols, and sometimes they're unconfirmed album titles that are subject to change.

Kelly and Barker went for the last of those options, getting the title of Kelly's forthcoming album (which at the time was born with horns) tattooed on their forearms.

However, in a new Instagram video posted today, Kelly has revealed that born with horns is no longer. The reveal happens when Kelly asks an unwitting Barker, "Okay, we're friends no matter what, right?" to which Barker agrees. The two calmly fist pump in celebration of that fact before Kelly continues.

"Remember when we got the new album name tattooed on our arms?" he asks. Barker starts to laugh and responds: "You changed the—" before Kelly slaps him on the back and confirms that he's changing the album title.

Barker then asks what the new album name is, and a title card reading Mainstream Sellout (yes, seriously) flashes on the screen. So that's that, though born with horns will live on forever in ink form.

In the brief clip that features the two showing off their forearm tattoos, it also appears that Kelly has the Red Hot Chili Peppers asterisk symbol covering his elbow — gotta wonder if he's as excited about that new Frusciante-featuring music as everyone else is.

Mainstream Sellout (for real, maybe you should've just stuck with that first idea Mr. Machine Gun) is set to arrive sometime later this year.
