Mac DeMarco Shares Freaky "Here Comes the Cowboy" Video

You can also stream his new album now

Mac DeMarco's new album Here Comes the Cowboy finally arrives today, and the Canadian musician has marked the occasion with a video for the LP's title track.

"Here Comes the Cowboy" follows visuals for "Nobody" and "On the Square," and the new clip was directed by Cole Kush. The video opens with summery, bright colours, before switching focus to freakishly animated people and creatures.

Metallic cherubs paddle boat across a river while emojis float in the sky and strange beings dance in the river, eventually banding together to set a man in a head clamp free.

It's super disturbing, yet endearing. Watch "Here Comes the Cowboy" below, where you can also stream the album of the same name.
