Next year's festival season is still a long way away, but Ottawa Bluesfest has already announced one of the headliners of its 2024 edition: Mötley Crüe.
The band will play the RBC Stage on July 13, 2024. The lineup will feature guitarist John 5, as founding six-stringer Mick Mars is currently suing the band for removing him from the lineup. Despite the legal battle, Mars approves of John 5.
Ottawa Bluesfest's executive and artistic director Mark Monahan said in a statement, "I booked Tommy Lee at the festival when he was involved in a side-project, several years ago, and always thought it would be great to book Mötley Crüe one day. Well that day has arrived, and it gives us great pleasure to have landed one of the greatest rock bands of our times."
Single-day tickets for July 13 go on sale this Thursday (November 9). A day, a presale will begin for members of the Ottawa Bluesfest Insider list.
