Hurry up, we're not dreaming! M83 — the electronic synthpop project masterminded by Anthony Gonzalez — is teasing new music.
In an Instagram post last night (December 29), Gonzalez shared a video (er, a reel?) with an audio clip titled "M83 - unreleased music." The video reunites us with some familiar M83verse characters alongside the return to the project's characteristic lush wall of sound. Two otherworldly synth chords are sustained, heaving with epic-scale vibrato.
M83's most recent studio album was 2019's DSVII. Last year, Gonzalez and co. celebrated the 10th anniversary of seminal album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming with a limited-edition reissue.
