Live At CBGB 1982

BY Sam SutherlandPublished Feb 19, 2007

A gritty look at one of hardcore’s most important bands at their most intense, Live At CBGB 1982 is an hour of absolute mayhem. Culled from a three-night stint at the now defunct CBGB, these performances capture the band at their most intense and the crowd at their most violent. Interspersing their thrash-punk anthems with the odd reggae tune, this DVD serves as a auditory and visual reminder of what made Bad Brains so exciting and unique: seeing a pit full of white kids lose their shit to four black Rastarfians performing some of the best hardcore songs written in the 1980s.
