Little Simz has announced a North American tour, marking her first trek on the continent since 2019.
This September and October, the artist will play 10 shows in both Canada and the United States. Stops North of the border come at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom, Toronto's History and Montreal's MTELUS.
Little Simz had previously planned a North American tour behind her acclaimed Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, but cancelled those dates due to mental and financial stresses. At the time, she wrote, "Being an independent artist, I pay for everything encompassing my live performances out of my own pocket and touring the US for a month would leave me in a huge deficit."
Shortly after that announcement, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert — which Exclaim! named the best album of 2021 — captured Simz the 2022 Mercury Prize. Late last year, the artist followed that release with NO THANK YOU.
