Two Shell have shared a new single today. The London, UK-based electronic duo and recent Exclaim! Staff Picks have released "✨mum is calling✨" and included it as the final track on their lil spirits EP, which arrived via Mainframe Audio in February.
lil spirits was originally a five-track project upon its release, containing some of Two Shell's most popular songs to date, including the fast-paced robotic beeping and choppy vocals of "love him" and "bluefairy," the latter of which tells you to "hold on to your nipples" in its string of nonsensical dialogue over a futuristic beat.
"✨mum is calling✨" follows "bluefairy" in its use of distorted vocals over a synth-driven beat, but the dialogue break in the middle of the song and xylophone instrumental set it apart from the rest of the EP.
Two Shell will perform live four times in the same night at yet-to-be-determined locations across London on April 22.
