Lightning Bolt, the legendary duo of drummer Brian Chippendale and bassist Brian Gibson, have announced a fall North American tour.
The eight-date sprint marks the duo's first shows in the US and Canada since the release of their seventh album, 2019's Sonic Citadel.
A lone Canadian date on the tour brings the two to Montreal's Bar Le Ritz PDB on October 6. Tickets for all dates are now on sale, with further details available via Thrill Jockey Records.
While a follow-up to Sonic Citadel has yet to be announced, Chippendale and Gibson each have solo albums arriving in the not-too-distant future.
Bassist Gibson will share Thrasher on August 23, while drummer Chippendale will deliver a new LP as Black Pus this fall.
