Lexington + Whatevski

Preggers Can't Be Choosers

If Preggers Can't Be Choosers tells us one thing about Lexington + Whatevski, it's that they're a pair of disturbed, misanthropic drunks. They're also very talented. Within the first 30 seconds of "Myself," Lexington has compared his penis to a pressure washer, and that's just for starters. On "Back Seat Driver," the boys spin an in-depth tale of a night of boozing the ends in a deadly nightmare, while "Bride of Frankenstein" describes chopping up and reconstructing a body in gory detail. What separates Lexington + Whatevski from a lot of their horrorcore brethren is that they know when to take their foot off the pedal. Just when the parade of rage and gore is about to turn from shocking to boring they switch up the pace, breaking out instructional party anthem "Shotgun a Beer" or the legitimately introspective "My Girlfriend is Odd." A lot of people won't get Preggers Can't Be Choosers but the people that do will most definitely dig it.
