Venerable British folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling is teasing the long-awaited release of new music over four years on from her last solo album, 2020's Song for Our Daughter.
Across Marling's social media channels, a video montage by Tam Topolski has been posted with the caption, "Patterns in Repeat." Whether that's the name of a new song and/or a forthcoming album, it shares its title with the artist's Substack newsletter, where she writes "around and about songwriting and what causes it."
Since her last LP under her own name, she and Tunng's Mike Lindsay released their sophomore album as LUMP, Animal, in 2021. Marling also featured on the Flyte song "Tough Love" last year.
Check out the teaser below, and stay tuned for what's to come; it's bound to be worth the wait.
