Not your older sibling’s hardcore band, these Swedish veterans looked like they could be fresh out of art school, with heart-wrenchingly beautiful numbers that blend Sigur Rós’s haunting elegance with Sonic Youth’s knack for nailing the experimental-breakdown-to-pop-lick structure. They wowed the crowd on their second set of the night, but despite overwhelming audience support towards an encore, being the last band of the night, the house was too happy to play their standard garage rock fair while the band tried to pick up their instruments for one last tune.
