Korn bass player Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu announced last month he would be stepping away from the band to deal with some "bad habits." Now Korn have revealed his replacement — Suicidal Tendencies four-stringer Ra Diaz.

Today Korn confirmed Diaz will be joining them on their upcoming U.S. tour, writing: "We appreciate your kind words of support in response to the recent tour update about Fieldy. While our brother takes some time to heal, we wanted to let you know that we are bringing our friend Ra Diaz from Suicidal Tendencies out with us this summer to fill in on Korn bass duties. We've all been rehearsing to get ready to bring the heat, and we can't wait to see you next month."

Korn will kick off their tour on August 5 in Florida, and it will run deep into October. However, no Canadian dates have been added to the tour. You can see the schedule here.

When Arvizu announced he would be taking a hiatus from Korn, he wrote: "I will be working towards getting the bad habits out of my system. In the meantime I will be staying creative to keep my mind and soul in a good place. I'm thankful for all of your support, patience and understanding as we all have something that we deal with."
