Southern brother band Kings of Leon have unveiled the first taste of their upcoming Mechanical Bull LP by streaming new single "Supersoaker."
While the verse sounds something like an inversion of the Strokes' "The Modern Age," the ultra-slick production adds bell hits and a snap-and-pop bass line to the mix. The lyrics have Caleb Followill detailing kisses and good vibrations down in the Delta in his familiar whisky-soaked wheeze.
What the song has to do with an air-pressure pumped Super Soaker 100, we may never know, but you can check out the single all the same in the neon-lit YouTube clip down below.
As previously reported, Mechanical Bull bucks into stores September 24 via RCA.
