King Tuff is at last ready to release his new album The Other, the project's first full-length since 2014. As of now, you can stream the entire new record.
The Other marks the first full-length from Kyle Thomas' King Tuff project since 2014's Black Moon Spell. For the new album, Thomas handled production himself, with Shawn Everett (War on Drugs, Alabama Shakes) taking care of mixing. The album also features contributions from Ty Segall (drums), Jenny Lewis (vocals), Greta Morgan (vocals) and Mikal Cronin (saxophone).
"I let the songs lead me where they wanted to go, instead of trying to push them into a certain zone," Thomas previously said of the record in a statement. "King Tuff was always just supposed to be me. When I started doing this as a teenager, it was whatever I wanted it to be. King Tuff was never supposed to be just one thing. It was supposed to be everything."
The Other is out now via Sub Pop, and you can hear it in full below.
