Kimbra Announces North American Tour, Plays Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 11, 2012

Massive radio anthem "Somebody That I Used To Know" may have kick-started the career of Aussie singer Gotye, but the catchy hit single also helped boost the profile of New Zealand-based guest vocalist Kimbra. Though her biggest hit to date isn't exactly her own, the Kiwi vocalist just may have to pull out the number during her upcoming North American solo tour.

The playful pop artist will tout tunes off her electro-, R&B- and soul-inspired 2011 debut Vows on a 19-date trip that kicks off at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom September 25. Other Canadian stops take place at Montreal's Corona Theatre October 26 and Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on October 27. You can check the rest of the schedule down below.

If you haven't yet heard Kimbra flex her skills outside of "Somebody That I Used To Know," check out her equally infectious "Cameo Lover" down below.
