Kid Cudi has suggested that the end of his musical career is coming after the release of one final album.

In a Twitter thread yesterday (November 6), the artist said he's going to put out "one more album" as per his record label's requirements. While he says that the album "won't come next year," he says he will keep fans posted on what may be his final musical project.

"Im doin 1 more album and then im done w my deal and not sure what ima do after that but yea, 1 more.  Wont be next year. Keep u posted," Cudi tweeted.

He continued: "This is for all my fans that have been ridin w me for so long.  This will be all new music. The songs ive teased ill prolly put out as singles here and there to hold u over."

Cudi previously spoke about a retirement from music in an appearance on Hot Ones in early October. "I'm kinda nearing the end on all things Kid Cudi," he shared, going on to discuss the longevity of rap artists like JAY-Z and Eminem. "I feel like, I don't have what they have," Cudi continued. "I just don't know if I want to do … music, drop albums for too much longer."

Cudi's latest effort was this year's Entergalactic, an album that arrived in September alongside a Netflix special of the same name.
