Since delivering the hotly anticipated American Teen earlier this year, Khalid has popped up on tracks alongside the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris and Future. Now, the young vocalist is set to take his debut LP on the road this summer.
The 18 year-old Texan's "American Teen Tour" will keep him on the road for the better part of July and August, kicking things off in Portland on July 12. Venue information has yet to be revealed following the vocalist's tour announcement through social media today (May 15).
A couple of festival appearances jump out from the itinerary, with Khalid slated to perform at British Columbia's Pemberton Music Festival on July 13 and New York's NYC East River Promenade on August 12.
Two other Canadian dates are part of the run, with the vocalist performing in Montreal on August 8 and Toronto on August 9. Tickets for all dates go on sale Thursday (May 18) at 12 p.m. local time.
