Ahead of releasing his "final TDE album," Kendrick Lamar has appeared on Baby Keem's new album The Melodic Blue. You can hear the 16-song release below, which also features Travis Scott and Don Toliver.

The Melodic Blue follows Baby Keem's 2019 mixtape Die for My Bitch, and is the first album to arrive through Lamar's production company pgLang, which he founded in March of last year.

Keem and Lamar are cousins, and ahead of today's album release, the first work they shared together was explosive single "Family Ties," which you can revisit in the player below alongside the full album.

Lamar's dizzying delivery and Hulk Hogan interpolation on "Family Ties" marked his first new music of 2021, and he now appears on two other songs on The Melodic Blue.

On "range brothers," he trades bars with Keem ahead of delivering some unexpected, old-timey greetings, while on "vent," he asks forcefully, "Have you ever been punched in your motherfuckin' face?"

Last month, Lamar announced that the forthcoming follow-up to 2017's acclaimed DAMN. will be his last with longtime label home Top Dawg Entertainment. 2020 also saw him appear on a song with Busta Rhymes.
