The rebooted Arsenio Hall Show got a double dose of Compton rap last night (September 17) when the late-night program was visited by TDE/Black Hippy's Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q.
First up was Lamar, who received a very warm introduction from Hall before launching into a rock riff-assisted version of "m.A.A.d. City." Following the intro's patented "Yawk Yawk Yawk," you can see Lamar bob and weave across the stage while running bars atop the live arrangement down below.
Up next was Schoolboy Q, who brought out icy Oxymoron teaser "Collard Greens" to the stage. After a while, though, the bucket hat-sporting spitter passed the mic to Kendrick, who proceeded to deliver an unedited verse. Nevertheless, the censors put that beep-out button to work.
You can check out both performances, as well as the interview with Kendrick, down below.
