A match made in electronic music heaven, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and founding Hot Chip member Joe Goddard have teamed up for their new collaborative Neptunes EP.
The five-track run includes the Pharrell- and Chad Hugo-inspired lead single and titular track "Neptunes." The single's Aron Sanchez-Barada-directed music video was released today.
Smith shared of "Neptunes," in a press release, "I loved what the rhythm made me feel when I first heard it. I actually thought [Goddard] was tapping into Neptune as a planet, and the qualities I felt it possesses. So my side of things brought out more space-themed sounds as a result."
Neptunes EP is out November 22 via Smugglers Way. Check out the music video for "Neptunes" below.
