If you somehow missed Junia-T's Studio Monk in your 2020 listening, you're in luck: the Toronto artist has announced a deluxe edition of the must-hear album set to arrive March 19 through Pirates Blend.
While a tracklist has yet to be revealed, the deluxe edition of the Polaris Music Prize-shortlisted Studio Monk will feature four brand new songs, alongside album tracks featuring Jessie Reyez, Nate Husser, Adam Bomb and more.
One of those deluxe inclusions, titled "4AM in Toronto," has arrived today. You can hear the song, featuring Atlanta-based artist Miloh Smith, ahead of its radio premiere on BBC Radio 1Xtra at 2 p.m. ET.
"Miloh and I made this joint while she was in town for the 'Know Better' video shoot," Junia-T shared of his latest collaboration. "She was in town during February, so she got a real dose of a Toronto winter. After the brisk journey to the studio, we got started and this song came like water."
In 2019, Exclaim! visited Junia-T at Soleil Sound studio during the making of Studio Monk.
