Though you may not know him by name, chances are that you've heard drummer Josh Freese play on something. Besides being a founding member of the Vandals, the prolific skin-beater has toured and recorded with Devo, Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, the Offspring and many others.
The prolific musician also occasionally releases solo work, which started with 2000's Notorious One Man Orgy. Now, on March 23, Freese will be releasing his sophomore effort, Since 1972. Keeping with the times, the album is available in a number of purchasing options, many of which are absolutely ridiculous, ranging from a personal phone call from Freese to a home-made lasagne from a NIN member and a mini-golf trip with Maynard Keenan and Mark Mothersbaugh. The prices range from seven dollars to $75,000, and Freese insists that all the options are for real.
