Red Hot Chili Peppers guitar hero John Frusciante is gearing up for his new solo album Maya, and with the record due out later this month, he's now broken off its "Brand E."
The newly shared album track has arrived alongside a video. It was filmed in L.A. and stars Lee Bootee and Frusciante himself. As you'll witness, the Amalía Irons-directed clip essentially plays out like some abstract sci-fi short film.

Maya is due out on October 23 through Venetian Snares' Timesig label. The nine-song album is dedicated to his cat, Maya, who recently passed away.
