John Carpenter is once again showing off his upcoming album Lost Themes III: Alive After Death, this time via a new animated video. The clip comes for the album's title track "Alive After Death," and it very much lives up to its title.
The video was created by the illustrator Boneface, and it reimagines Dante's Inferno as a subway ride through the river Styx, with Death leading the show. As you could expect, though, it's a bit more complicated than that.

As previously reported, Lost Themes III: Alive After Death will be out on February 5 through Sacred Bones.
Recently, Carpenter's classic Escape from New York soundtrack was treated to a new vinyl reissue by Waxwork Records. You can read Exclaim!'s review here.
