Today, Jenny Hval was set to kick off a North American tour behind last year's The Practice of Love. Now, the Norwegian songwriter has shared a new song and some details on rescheduled tour dates.
"Bonus Material" features saxophonist Espen Reinertsen and is described by Hval as "an unfinished track about unfinished substances leaking into one another. Trash practicing love."
The song also appeared on a benefit compilation released by Sacred Bones, Hval's label home, last month.
As for tour dates, Hval has rescheduled stops in Chicago, Brooklyn and San Francisco for this September. Her planned Toronto date at Longboat Hall has yet to be rescheduled.
Exclaim! named The Practice of Love one of the 20 Best Pop and Rock Albums of 2019.
Tour dates:
09/10 Chicago, IL - Constellation
09/13 Brooklyn, NY - National Sawdust
09/14 Brooklyn, NY - National Sawdust
09/18 San Francisco, CA - Grand Theatre
