Jean-Michel Jarre Teams Up with Massive Attack, Tangerine Dream for New Singles

French electronic innovator Jean-Michel Jarre is back in a big way. Last month, we heard a taste of his Gesaffelstein collaboration "Conquistador," and now that song, along with a pair of other collaborative tracks, will make up a new EP series.

In addition to Gesaffelstein, the series sees Jarre working with Massive Attack's 3D and Tangerine Dream.

With 3D, Jarre has created a new single called "Watching You," while he's pieced together a track called "Zero Gravity" with Tangerine Dream.

All three singles will be available on limited 12-inch singles on June 19. Each will feature remixes and/or extended versions on their respective B-sides.

Pre-order "Conquistador" here, "Watching You" here and "Zero Gravity" here. Excerpts of all three tracks can be streamed below.

Jean-Michel Jarre is currently working on a new album. All three of these singles are set to appear on the release, along with the M83 collaboration "Glory."

It should be noted that Tangerine Dream leader Edgar Froese passed away early this year, so it's unclear if the group's collaboration with Jarre was done previous to his passing or with a different lineup.
