No longer simply an ambassador of Britpop, former Pulp front-man Jarvis Cocker has now widened his scope - and his travel possibilities.
As Brand Republic reports [via Prefix], Cocker has inked a deal with European train line Eurostar to promote their "Culture Connect" program, which urges Europeans to engage in the culture of their neighbouring countries. The program offers deals to travellers seeking transit to 15 museums in London, Paris and Brussels.
"As Ambassador for Culture Connect, I'm encouraging everyone to get on a train and explore the culture of another country," Cocker stated of his new post. "TV, films and the internet may be great at showing you what something looks like, but they are no substitute for seeing works of art with your own eyes."
