Jamie Foxx Saves Man from Burning Car

Actor, comedian, singer and producer Jamie Foxx can now add real-life superhero to his resume. Earlier this week, after all, he saved a man from a burning vehicle outside of his California home.

Late at night, Foxx heard a crash outside of his mansion. He went outside to discover a flipped truck that was burning on his front lawn. With the help of a bystander who happened to be an off-duty paramedic, Foxx was able to free the man from the vehicle. Seconds later, it engulfed in flames.

The driver of the truck is Brett Kyle, a 32-year-old who is currently being treated for injuries. He was also charged with impaired driving.

Kyle's father was at the scene, and crying "tears of joy" that Foxx and the other bystander would risk their lives to save his son.

"I said, 'You've got angels around you. You've got angels around you,'" Foxx said, alluding to the fact that it was a close call for Brett Kyle.

Watch Jamie Foxx discuss the crash with ABC News below, where you'll also find a video of him embracing Kyle's father.
