Jakob Dylan and Neko Case Team Up for North American Tour, Play Toronto

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 18, 2010

Jakob Dylan has been hard at work on his comeback album since fronting the Wallflowers in the '90s. His upcoming solo album, Women and Country, was recorded with T-Bone Burnett and features appearances from Neko Case. As previously reported, a joint tour between Dylan and Case was rumoured, and now we're happy to confirm those rumours are true, as the first round of dates with the two have been posted.

Along with some scheduled appearances at SXSW this week, Dylan and Case will travel across North America and perform cuts from across Dylan's career. The entire tour has yet to be announced, but a Canadian show scheduled in Toronto on April 25 has already been confirmed.

Women and Country will be released by Columbia on April 6. A three-song EP, which features album tracks "Nothing But the Whole Wide World," "Everybody's Hurting" and "They've Trapped Us Boys," is now available through all the major digital music retailers. Two of those songs can also be streamed here.
