After sharing a cover of Björk's "Cosmogony" earlier this month, Iceland's Hamrahlíð Choir have returned with another rework of a song from their "Cornucopia" tour collaborator.
This time, the ensemble has shared their version of "Sonnets," based on the arrangement that appeared on Björk's 2004 vocal album Medúlla. You can hear it below.
The Hamrahlíð Choir's version of "Sonnets" will appear on Come and Be Joyful. Arriving December 4, the album features both aforementioned Björk covers and a selection of Icelandic folk songs, conducted by Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir.
Björk's involvement with the Hamrahlíð Choir for her "Cornucopia" shows was a natural fit, having been a member of the group herself as a teenager.
