Iceage

'Plowing Into the Field of Love' (album stream)

BY Josiah HughesPublished Sep 30, 2014

Copenhagen post-punks Iceage have somewhat flipped the script on their upcoming Plowing Into the Field of Love LP, expanding their influences with new sonic touchstones. You don't have to take our word for it, however, as the full LP can be streamed now.

The group's evolution is most notable on songs like the piano-driven "On My Finger," the country-tinged "The Lord's Favorite" and the neo-folk jam "Glassy Eyed, Dormant and Veiled." It's a little weird at first, but it ultimately serves to beef up the band's repertoire.
