The song is part of his 'Disco Body Buzz' album

Like his fellow former Attack in Black member Daniel Romano, Ian Daniel Kehoe had an extremely productive 2020 with the release of three albums on cassette. Next month, he'll treat Disco Body Buzz to an Exclaim!-anticipated wide release. Today, he's given us a taste with the new single "Colour Application."

The song sees Kehoe working in collaboration with his partner Tamara Lindeman of the Weather Station, and it has arrived with a video courtesy of Toronto painter Mike Giganti.

Of the vid, Giganti said:

I'm constantly trying to avoid real life, and if a mirror can be a door then why not a pencil or a paintbrush or a music video? If struggling to make something that doesn't exist is real by virtue of the struggle then maybe it should be documented. It is (so far) impossible to turn our entire shared consciousness into a cartoon, but hopefully by opening a small door we can at least sneak a few people through. I think this video is a door.
