HOUNDS Ready 'Wild Eyes' EP, Premiere New Single

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Apr 10, 2015

Back in January, we reported that Toronto/Montreal punk unit HOUNDS had signed to New Damage Records for their debut EP. Now, they've offered up some details on the upcoming release and shared a brand new track called "Syncope."

Wild Eyes will arrive on April 21 both digitally and on limited-edition vinyl. The six-track offering was produced by Cancer Bats guitarist Scott "Scoeb" Middleton, and you can see the full tracklisting down below. The album art is pictured above.

Following up previously released single "Thanks," HOUNDS have unveiled another cut from the album, titled "Syncope" — and Exclaim! is pleased to present you with an exclusive first listen. It's a barrage of guitar blasts and pummelling drums, which serve as the vehicle for ferocious growls and bursts of melodic backing vocals.

You can catch the band live at their upcoming shows listed below, and scroll past those to give "Syncope" a spin.
