Holy Fuck Return with New LP

BY Stephen CarlickPublished Mar 12, 2010

Surprise! After a prolonged period of silence, the Internet's second most popular "F-word" band, Holy Fuck, have popped the news that a follow-up to 2007's LP is on its way.

Dubbed Latin, the album has both a lead single and a release date: "Latin America" is the kick-off track from the record, which is due May 11 from XL/Young Turks.

Latin was engineered by Holy Fuck's Graham Walsh and mixed by the band, with production help from a pile of different producers: Girls Against Boys' Eli Janney, Dave Sardy (Black Mountain, Johnny Cash), Paul Epworth (Bloc Party) and Broken Social Scene producer Dave Newfeld.

The "Latin America" single is rumoured to be on chat site Chatroulette right now, but the website randomly matches you, via webcam, to strangers around the world, so not only are your chances of finding the song slim to nil, but your chances of finding a masturbating exhibitionist are roughly one in five, so reader beware. There isn't even a "search" function!

If you're not brave enough to head to Chatroulette, an MP3 of the track is expect to arrive next week.
