Hollerado have 111 Songs coming out soon, and now the fun-loving power pop band have unleashed one of them early. It's a festive tune called "I'm Beginning to Drink a Lot Like Christmas" (or "#ImbeginningtodrinkalotlikeChristmas").
This song was written for an album-purchaser named Jon, and it's a shameless knockoff of "Undone - The Sweater Song" by Weezer. Just like "The Sweater Song," it opens with a plodding intro and a goofy conversation about going to a party. The melodies are different however, and the lyrics are filled with references to Christmas and alcohol. It was produced by Hollerado and Matthew Raudsepp. There's also a comically shoddy, homemade-looking video to go along with the song.
Check it out below. Expect the rest of the 111 Songs to be out in February.
