Hollerado's upcoming reunion might be about to expand, as the band have teased the possibility of adding a rehearsal show in Toronto.
On Instagram, the band shared a photo from the archives, writing that they were considering adding a show at Elsie's (the coffee shop and record store located at Royal Mountain Records HQ). The band wrote, "It will be our second time rehearsing together in five years, so we might do a bunch of songs twice and practice a couple parts again if we screw them up really bad. Curious if anyone would pay $20 to see this?" They suggested that the show would be in late September, and that they would add some bands to the bill if people were keen.
Update (8/7, 1:35 p.m. ET): Hollerado have formally announced their Toronto rehearsal show. It will take place in the Royal Mountain parking lot on September 28.
As of this writing, the post has been liked more than 1,300 times, so clearly, there are people who are keen to see it.
Hollerado split up in 2019. They announced earlier this year that they would reunite to open for Tokyo Police Club's farewell shows in Toronto, and they subsequently added an Ottawa date.
The band's Menno Versteeg and Nixon Boyd each recently released their debut singles under their own names.
