So what does this nation champion? Revolution through a dark, spiritual low end produced by an abundance of analog and digital effects, a rotating cast of MCs (including Dr. Israel and Killah Priest) and a shadowy, mystical rebelliousness. And on the whole, it's working. Revolutionary messages of the serious radical rasta variety drop from A.P.O.S.T.L.E. on "Destroy The Industry," a call for change in the rap game, while a medley of vocals from Stero-Lion, Killah Priest and singer Vida-Sunshyne on "Babylon Beast" begets a slower, soulful and sultry slow jam vibe. Fire makes for higher soulful progressions and bursts of MC snarls and rhymes, as things get more progressive with a steppin' tempo over didgeridoo (courtesy of Ganga Giri) and scrambled voice samples on "Exorcism." KRS-ONE guests on three tracks, including the industrial-tinged "King of the Mountain" and the forceful "Arrival." This nation is bound for black-clad, dreadlocked glory.
