Just over a week out from the release of Tom Petty's posthumous rarities comp An American Treasure, the late rocker's camp has rolled out another previously unheard cut.
Titled "Gainesville," the breezy rocker serves as an ode to Petty's hometown. Petty and the Heartbreakers recorded the track in 1998, during the sessions that would eventually spawn the group's 1999 LP Echo.
An American Treasure arrives September 28 through Reprise.
