While we last heard from Japanese rock innovators Ogre You Asshole back with 2016's everythingsomethingnothing, the band are shining a new light on the album with an upcoming mini-release. Best of all, it features none other than Yo La Tengo/Dump hero James McNew, who has remixed two of the album's tracks.
For the four-track EP simply called Crossword/Lost, Sigh, Days - James McNew Remixes, McNew has put a new spin on everythingsomethingnothing songs "Lost, Sigh, Days" and "Crossword," with the original versions reappearing on the new release.
You can hear the premiere of the new remixes by McNew right now down below.
While Crossword/Lost, Sigh, Days - James McNew Remixes is due out in North America digitally on Friday (November 17), Team Love will also treat it to a CD release in the spring of 2018. On top of that, the EP has been released as a 7-inch in OYA's native Japan.
For now, though, stream the remixes from Crossword/Lost, Sigh, Days - James McNew Remixes for yourself below.
