Next month, Calgary punk rippers Hag Face will team up with Victoria's Babysitter for a new split 7-inch. Before it arrives in full, we get a taste of the release with "Rip It."
A press release promises that the band are working on a new album that features "a more focused and clean sounding version of their brutal death-punk sound," but before they go in that direction they've let out a few more gritty shrieks. "Rip It" is hardly polished, offering a heavy, fast-moving shredder complete with guttural vocals and a muscular break down.
Listen to "Rip It" below. Hag Face's split with Babysitter will arrive on July 30 through Pleasence and Resurrection.
