We get it — the above headline sounds like something from a twisted game of Mad Libs, but to reiterate: Guy Fieri's Labour Day long weekend included a trip to catch Nickelback headline a hot air balloon festival in Quebec.
The mayor of Flavortown took a trip to Gatineau, QC, to watch the Alberta rockers play the city's annual celebration of fire-powered flight last Friday night (August 30).
Now in its 32nd year, Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival's musical lineup also featured the likes of Loud, Dead Obies, Ariane Moffat and more.
Fieri was spotted at the show in Gatineau's La Baie Park by a number of attendees, who took to Twitter to announce the unexpected celebrity sighting.
It wasn't long before Fieri joined Nickelback onstage and kept everyone nice and loose with shots of tequila.

Guy Fieri is here and just fed Chad Kroeger shots. The idea of them getting drunk together after this is a lot for me.

Can't stop thinking about Chad Kroeger, Guy Fieri and Jamie Fine from The Launch on stage last night taking swigs from a shared bottle of Patrón.

Chad yelling "IT'S FRIDAY" repeatedly—and also, "it's time for Jägerbombs," before some guy handed him a red cup.
