Ghost Is Dancing

This new Sonic Unyon signing are an exuberant eight-piece whose enthusiasm was almost too big — both physically and sonically — for the tiny stage they found themselves squished onto. They’ve got the sound and they’ve certainly got the songs, but their initial promise could evaporate unless harnessed and brought into focus in a studio. This fall they start recording with Dale Morningstar, a master at reining in chaos.
