After teasing us for quite some time, Halifax rapper Ghettosocks has unveiled his long-in-the-works For You Pretty Things LP. The album went up digitally today (November 5) and will enter the physical realm via a CD release on December 17.
A press release for Ghettosocks' third studio full-length notes that the rapper teams up with a number of guests, from established artists like Brand Nubian's Sadat X, the Herbaliser and West Coast vet Moka Only, to Canadian up-and-comers like Shevy Price, Phoenix Pagliacci, Apt and Nilla.
On the production front, Ghettosocks spits atop beats served up by Bix, Boom Baptist, Fresh Kils, Fitz Ambrose, the Extremities, M Mac, Moka Only, Apt, Sean One, NATO and a few self-produced tracks.
You can stream the set down below, save the bonus cut "The Mustard Station," which has Ghettosocks sharing the spotlight with Jeff Spec, Timbuktu, Moka Only and Muneshine.
You can also pick up the digital album and pre-order the CD edition over here.
While Ghettosocks' last official LP was 2009's Treat of the Day, the rapper gave fans a bit of relief late last year via the We're Gonna Drink a Lot of Wine This Year, Boys mixtape.
