Winnipeg singer-songwriters Field Guide (Dylan MacDonald) and Kris Ulrich have joined forces with Toronto's Georgia Harmer and Julian Psihogios to form a new band called Dweller. They've announced their debut EP together and shared its first single, "Leave This Home."

The self-titled four-track collection is due December 1 via Birthday Cake Records. It was recorded live on a Tascam 388 at Oolytone Studios in Winnipeg.

Ulrich released his sophomore offering, Big in the USA, earlier this year, while Field Guide put out the Tape Redux edition of his self-titled album. Harmer made her mark with her lovely debut album Stay in Touch in 2022.

"Leave This Home" feels like a river with a steady current that still finds its ebbs and flows somewhere in the stasis, with Harmer's sun-flecked, clear-cut vocals mourning the end of a chapter over Ulrich's equally emotive, twang-laced guitar. Give it a listen below.
