Future Joins Forces with Maroon 5 for "Cold"

Having already pulled off a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar for "Don't Wanna Know," Maroon 5 have enlisted ATLien Future for some icy raps on a new track titled "Cold."

In reminiscing on past loves that have flamed out alongside Adam Levine, Future raps, "Never thought that you was like this / I took the tag off and made you priceless / I just spent a half a mill on a chandelier / Not you trying to cut me off like a light switch."

Of course, the Atlanta rap icon is no stranger to the pop crossover, having teamed up with Miley Cyrus and Mr. Hudson for "Real and True" back in 2013. For Future, the song arrives on the same day as he announced a new self-titled LP and accompanying tour.

Maroon 5 will perform the single on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow (February 15), though it's unclear if Future will make an appearance. For now, take in "Cold" in the player below.
