Kendrick Lamar Joins Forces with Maroon 5 for "Don't Wanna Know"

Like it or not, esteemed hip-hop figure Kendrick Lamar is once again flirting with the pop world, this time joining Top 40 hitmakers Maroon 5 for their new track "Don't Wanna Know."

Coming via Apple Music, the new track can be heard below. And come Friday (October 14), you can expect the video to premiere on NBC's Today.

UPDATE (10/17, 9 a.m. EDT): You can now watch the video for "Don't Wanna Know" below. It finds celebrities like Vince Vaughn, Sarah Silverman and Ed Helms stepping into roles as Pokémon and getting chased through the streets by crazy fans á la Pokémon Go.

While the union of Compton's finest and Maroon 5 may come as a bit of a shock, King Kendrick and the band's Adam Levine have actually previously collaborated: they both appeared on Lonely Island's 2014 single "YOLO."
