In 2004 and 2005, influential art punk outfit Fugazi released two series of live recordings. Those recordings, which included a large assortment of the band's live performances between 1987 and 2002, are now set to find a new online home as part of the band's live digital archive.

In an interview with Fugazi fan site World of Fugazi [via Punknews], the band's Guy Picciotto revealed that the group are nearly done digitizing the live archives for a new Fugazi live website.

"We are not that far away from being able to set up our own website where ultimately almost every show we ever played will be available for download," Picciotto said.

The website's infrastructure is currently being developed, he added, but should be ready either later this year or by early 2011. An announcement regarding the availability of the live archive will be made via the Dischord's official site later this year.
