Here's a Christmas carol you probably won't hear piping out of the PA in a shopping mall. It comes from British folk-punk troubadour Frank Turner, who covered "Merry Christmas You XXXX" by the Breakdowns.
This intimate performance clip begins with a "NSFW" warning message; this is because "XXXX" stands for a certain inflammatory c-word, meaning that it's not really appropriate for work or around children. In the clip, Turner explains that he's recording an album in Nashville, which is where he and a banjo-toting Butch Walker perform the folksy, profane holiday ditty.
Incidentally, this is a brand-new song by a British band, so don't be fooled by Turner's introduction about Alan Lomax.
