Four Tet/Various

This two-CD set of remixes contains those that were done for other artists up until last year, as well as remixes of Four Tet tracks done by other people. The first CD sees Four Tet remixing for the likes of Radiohead, His Name Is Alive, Aphex Twin, Madvillain, Bonobo, etc, while the second includes remixes by Jay Dee, Manitoba, Icarus, Boom Bip, etc. There is everything from experimental electronics to hip-hop to funk, and epic renditions of songs like "So Here We Are.” Slowly built up with signature Four Tet bleeps, twinkles, and lush melodies, this Bloc Party track reaches its peak in a chaotic frenzy of guitars, blips, and drums.
