FKA twigs has revealed that her new album Magdalene will arrive this fall via Young Turks. And she's already announced a North American tour to go along with it, complete with Canadian stops.

She discussed the record in a new interview with i-D, saying it's "about every lover that I've ever had, and every lover that I'm going to have." And although there are moments of fragility, "there's an absolute defiance and strength in a way that my work's never had before."

She co-produced most of the album with Nicolas Jaar.

The full tracklisting has yet to be revealed, though Future guests on a song called "Holy Terrain."

"His verse is beautiful," she said. "He's just talking about his downfalls as a man; how he's sorry and asking for healing. I love sad Future. I love when he gets emo, when he expresses himself."

Other track titles include "1000 Eyes," "Sad Day," "Home with You," "Mirrored Heart" and "Daybed." It also features her previously released lead single "Cellophane."

As for her appropriately named "Magdalene Tour," it will kick off this fall, starting with a Vancouver dates on November 3. From there the trek will hit various U.S. stops before landing in Toronto on November 17.

A press release says the following of the upcoming shows:

Echoes of the past meet the future, emotion is power, desire is a force. Magdalene weaves a tapestry of sound, performance, costume, pole dancing, Wushu, set design and lighting. Inspired by the revolutionary 19th century concept of 'Gesamtkunstwerk,' or 'total work of art,' it is a complete experience. FKA twigs summons all that she has — technical mastery, creative brilliance and physical endurance — to transport her audience into a new artistic realm.

You can see the full tour schedule below.

Magdalene will mark the follow-up to 2014's LP1. She also released an EP titled M3LL155X in 2015.
